My Life Is Now Gone. Jus' Sayin'.

I was looking through my FanExpo pictures from 2011, and found this one. It’s also my Twitter icon, but I really wanted to share it.
When I was leaving the Artists Alley on the Saturday at FanExpo 2011, I spotted this little boy smiling his head off as Darth Maul walked passed. I was dressed up as Damian and NEEDED a picture with him because he was so cute.
I walked up to him and crouched down and asked “Hey, Mr. Joker, Can I get a picture with you to show to Batman?” and he was so excited and scared that ROBIN asked HIM for a picture that all he could do was stare at me. His mom got him to stand next to me for some pictures and he had this huge smile on his face the entire time I was talking to his mom.
He was shaking when my friend took this picture, and his mom told me that it was because he was only 4 and still thought that everyone he saw in costume was real. He couldn’t speak to me or even to her because he was excited.
As I was talking to the woman, he ran away for a second, and came back with his aunt and his sister. His sister was about 6 or 7 and she was dressed as Supergirl. He had brought her over to show her off to me because she was dressed up just like he was.
I met a lot of famous people at that con and made a number of new friends. But this little boy right here reminded me what conventions are about. They’re about having fun and making friends and having a good laugh with other people. It’s a place where nerds are allowed to dork out in costume without judgement.
It’s fun.
So let’s not lose that.
Here or out there.

This ;v; Oh god I don’t even know. So cute!

Every musical should have one minor character who is aware that everyone is singing and dancing and extremely confused and terrified

Anyone wanna do FMKs? Those things seriously amuse me.

you are right
being a pirate is no joke
it’s a serious business, those Pirates of the Caribbean movies are mocking the pirate life actually
as an example
here are some of the serious things we pirates do
serious pirate eating

serious pirate reading

serious pirate grooming

serious pirate listening to music

serious pirate sleeping

#those aren’t the pirates you are looking for

This was so pretty! The singing was beautiful, the singer was gorgeous, and the sand art was AMAZING.

I can’t believe they don’t play Eurovision on BBC America… ; A ; major dissapointment…
